Eric Oehlerich is a proven operational leader and international strategist with more than 20 years’ experience working some of the nation’s most challenging problems while serving as a U.S. Navy SEAL Officer. His geographic responsibility spanned the Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. Having completed 14 overseas deployments, Eric has lived through and led hundreds of high-risk combat missions and training exercises that provided a security blanket against extremism for the international community. Currently he is a Co-founder of Lobo Institute, a Senior Fellow for the Middle East Institute, and an ABC news analyst.
As an individual and leader, he has seen the realities of war, personally witnessed and experienced the effects of combat trauma, and grappled with personnel management as a result of it. Eric firmly stands behind access to all medical options available for veterans, to include medical cannabis.
From his hometown in northwest Montana, Olly volunteers his time setting up and hosting local veteran’s events and organizations. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Grassroots Reconciliation Group, a non-profit to help rehabilitate child soldiers. Eric Oehlerich is a tremendous leader, an international consultant, a husband, and a very proud father of four.
